Fee Schedules

The fee-for-service model is the most common form of compensation for an RMT working as an independent health care practitioner. An appointment includes the following components, each of which will vary in the amount of time required to complete, based on the condition(s) being treated, the length of the unit and the complexity of the treatment.

Patient care is commensurate with professional experience and, therefore, consideration to charge different rates depending on the RMT’s themselves while staying within the recordation of the professional fee schedule. Typically for a 60 min treatment fees are $120-140

Direct Billing

We will provide you with a receipt for making an insurance claim after a massage treatment has been provided and paid for. Insurance receipts are issued according to the guidelines of the College of Massage Therapists of BC and are given only in the name of the person receiving the treatment for the date of the actual treatment. Some of our RMT’s are currently only offering direct billing for Blue Cross, RCM and Veterans Affairs. Please check with your RMT and see if they offer Direct Billing.

ICBC/WCB/MSP

ICBC/WCB and MSP  patients will be required to pay for their treatments at the time of the appointment.  They may then submit the receipts to ICBC/adjustor/lawyer /WCB or MSP to be reimbursed.  ICBC patients do NOT require a Doctor’s referral for the FIRST 12 treatments.

Please check with your RMT and see if they offer direct billing to ICBC/WCB/MSP
